Topic:
Deploying a Successful Enterprise Data Model
- This is a one day
course that will explore the enterprise data model in depth. Participants will learn why companies create enterprise data models
and become aware how the factors of detail, abstraction, time, and
function influence the final design.
Based upon actual examples, the instructor will share the
reasons why certain modeling efforts succeeded while others failed. We’ll explore the three different approaches
to building the enterprise data model and the required skill sets. Naming standards and model layout will be discussed
as well. Exercises will
be used to reinforce key concepts.
Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of “Data
Modeling Made Simple".
